Victim was taken to hospital by private vehicle
DENVER - (12-25-15) An early Christmas morning shooting in Denver appears to have been self-inflicted and accidental, according to a Denver Police Department spokesperson.
The shooting victim, a woman, was taken to Denver Health via private vehicle, according to Denver Police Department spokesperson Sonny Jackson.
Hours after the shooting, Jackson told Denver7 the shooting "now appears [to be] a self-inflicted, accidental shooting." The location where the shooting took place is unknown at this time.
The victim's condition has not been released.

Two-year-old girl accidentally shot in face by family member cleaning gun
MOLALLA, Ore. – (12-25-15) A 2-year-old girl was accidentally shot in the cheek on Christmas morning, sheriff's deputies said.
The shooting occurred at a home near Molalla.
A Clackamas County sheriff's deputy told KGW that a family member, who received a gun cleaning kit for Christmas, was cleaning a handgun before it accidentally went off.
The girl's injuries were not life-threatening, deputies said.
The girl was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Oregon Health & Science University hospital in Portland.
No criminal charges have been filed.
Man shot outside of west Toledo strip club
TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - (12-25-15) Toledo Police are trying to determine what lead to a man being shot outside of a strip club in west Toledo.
Police responded to the parking lot of Lacy's Playhouse on North Detroit overnight.
When they arrived, they found the victim with a gun shot wound to the leg.
The man told police he accidentally shot himself.
