(2 wounded) Gunskilltoo Sept 22rd; Little girl shoots her sister.
I had a reply to a comment I'd posted on a pro-gun video. I thought about sharing it here, but it would have been highlighting the stupidity of the reply...and that's just mean.
So an 11 year old shoots her 13 year old sister accidently. It is sadly true many won't understand until they hold a dead child. If you have guns in the house, the odds are much stronger one of your family will be shot than an intruder. But some lessons are only learned by blood.
Teen suffers from life-threatening injuries after accidental shooting
Birmingham, Al (9-21-15) A teen is suffering from life-threatening injuries sustained in a shooting in Birmingham, police confirmed.
Birmingham PD said a 15-year-old was accidentally shot in the chest at 604 Sundale Drive. Reportedly, the injuries are life threatening.
The teen has been transported to UAB Hospital instead of Children’s Hospital because of the extent of the injuries, a Birmingham Police officer told WIAT.
Two individuals are being questioned about the shooting, police said.

13-year-old Ogden girl accidentally shot by little sister
Ogden, Utah (AP) — (9-21-15) A 13-year-old girl is recovering after she was accidentally shot in the neck by her 11-year-old sister in Ogden.
The Ogden City Police Department says the younger girl accidentally fired a .22 caliber revolver Sunday. She found the weapon in their grandparents' bedroom while cleaning.
Ogden Police Lt. Jake Sube says a bullet struck the 13-year-old in the neck but didn't hit any vital organs. He says she has been hospitalized and will likely have surgery to remove the bullet.
He described her as having a "very positive attitude."
Sube says the elderly grandparents probably had not used the gun in many years and forgot it was in the bedroom.
No arrests were made Sunday. Police say the investigation is ongoing
